In 2014 I was the subeditor for the production of Patrick Bartley's renowned sports biography Roy Higgins, Australia's Favourite Jockey. Following the passing of Australian jockey Roy Higgins, Penguin commissioned a biography of the sportsman in time for the Spring Carnival. I worked with multiple researchers and the author to edit a comprehensive compilation of research into a singular piece that had a consistent tone of voice, that was grammatically sound and that was an engaging exploration of the personal and professional life of Roy Higgins.
